The Blessings of God I Corinthians 2:9

9That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him."

God has plans for our lives that we cannot begin to imagine. Paul says that as mature Christians we should understand things that the rest of the world will not understand. We have experienced God's goodness but there is so much more that He has prepared for us. "Prepared for us"; imagine that!

God has these things already prepared for us! The question then is, "Where are these blessings?" God has these blessing located at a place called "There". "There" is where the abundant blessings of God can be found.

There is one place that we all need to be in our lives and that place is in the place that God would have us be. There is only one place that we can be at any given time and we are either in God's Will or we are not. When we are in this place called "there" then we find ourselves in a place that, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him."

How do we get in this place called "there"? How can we be in the place where the abundant blessings of God can be found? This place called "there" is accessible when we are obedient to Him when it matters and that is when we make decisions. You see there is nothing that we can do about decisions that we made yesterday and really nothing that we can do about decisions that we are going to have to make tomorrow.

The only thing we can do is make decisions that are inline with the Word of God TODAY. When I make decisions that are consistent with God's Word then I am making decisions that allow me to "be in His Will" then I am in this place called "there" which is where the blessings of God can be found in my life.

Remember something; God is always working to move us from where we are to the place where He wants us to be. That process takes a lifetime. God's blessings are worth the effort on our part to walk in the steps that He would have us walk.

"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him." How do we know that we love Him, if we keep His commandments! His commandments are worth keeping!
