God's Glory is Everywhere Psalm 19:1

1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. 2Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.


Listen as David so poetically describes for us the extent that God has gone to show us His glory! David writes, "day and night show us His Word and His knowledge. There is no speech where their voice is not heard." Night follows day and day follows night. It always has and it always will as long as this world is in existence. When night begins to fall we can know that God is in control. When the new day begins to dawn we can rejoice because we can know that there is new life in Him! No matter what faces us, there is a new day coming and with it will come the blessing of God for our lives when we trust Him and lean on Him.

David goes on, "in the night and in the day He has made a dwelling place for the sun." His going forth David writes is "from the end of heaven to the end of earth and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof." Just as God made a place for the sun to shine, so has He made a place for His Son to shine in our hearts. He has made a dwelling place for His Son in us. He has given Him to us and He is from everlasting to everlasting and just as the sun radiates its heat to every nook and cranny in our world, so does the Son of God radiate His love in us and there is no life that is exempt nor is there any situation too difficult for Him to solve.

God's glory is indeed everywhere! He has created the world to declare His glory! He has created a world where He can bless us and do for us and provide for us and protect us. He has purposely done all this for us! He has purposely made everything that we see, feel and experience so that we can know that He loves us. He wants us to know that He wants us to be filled with all the fullness that only He can give to us! We are the apple of His eye. Our happiness and absolute joy is the desire of His heart. When we watch the sun rise we ought to be reminded of just how much God loves us and how much He has done for us to show us His love.

The thing that I believe He wants us to remember is this; God created all that we see all around us and all that we do not see. He gave us His Son to die on a cross so that we could live with Him forever and He still has so much more that He wants to give to us if we will just remember that He wants to be The Lord and Master in our lives so that He can bless us and He can give us all that He has planned for us.

Every time you look up today and see the beauty of the day, be reminded of His love for you and know that He made everything so that you can know Him. He wants to make your life all that only He can make it. Reach up and take Him by the finger today and walk with Him and let Him bless you today. If you will do that, you will make the glory of God beam bright today and you will bless His heart in such a wonderful way, fulfilling the purpose for which you were created!
